Retailers are also using computer vision to optimize inventory management, track foot traffic, and analyze customer behavior. By understanding how customers navigate stores, which products they are drawn to, and how they interact with displays, retailers can make data-driven decisions to improve layouts, product placements, and marketing strategies.

In logistics and supply chain management, computer vision is being used to improve the efficiency of operations such as package sorting, vehicle tracking, and warehouse management. Automated sorting systems equipped with computer vision can identify packages based on barcodes or labels and direct them to the appropriate destinations without the need for human intervention. This speeds up the process, reduces errors, and allows for the efficient handling of large volumes of packages, especially in industries like e-commerce, where rapid delivery times are critical.
